About us

Owning my own primitive store in Colorado has long

 been my dream. Together with my husband Mike, we flexed

 our resources to make that dream come true.

I grew up with the crafts of my Mother and Father , Grandmother, and

 other women in my family from West Virginia, Virginia,

Tennessee, and Arkansas.

I have a degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

 I sketch, paint and create on, and with all types of materials,

 but I prefer to use discarded, recycled materials to create

 Most recently I have to decided to venture even further

out on a limb by creating a “bakery collection” of candles,

Some of the candles in this collection are made with

the  discarded cans from our three spoiled and pampered

dogs! I can tell you that they smell a whole lot better now

than they did before and you would never know what

was in them in their previous life if I had'nt told you.

I am a baker and a cook among other things so it was important

to me that these fun little creations look

and smell as  real as possible.

Each one is 100% soy vegetable wax, excellent quality,

and clean burning with an amazing scent that fills any room with

a warm and cozy feeling without even having to lite it!
